Most people in office are playing a game of ‘don’t lose.’ I’m playing to win for Weber County. Winning means 100% transparency, zero-waste budgets, and the courage to say ‘No’ to the status quo. If you want comfort, vote for the other guy. If you want a standard of excellence that doesn’t blink, let’s get to work.

Tax money isn’t ‘government money.’ It’s the hours of your life traded for a paycheck. Treating it with anything less than extreme respect is a moral failure. I’ve saved taxpayers money in my career—I’ll do it again in the Commission.

In politics, “the deal” is usually done before the meeting even starts. That ends now. My loyalty is not for sale to party insiders, special interests, or high-dollar donors. If a decision is being made about your taxes, your land, or your future, it will happen in the light of day.

It has been said, “Tell the truth, or at least don’t lie.” I will never hide behind a press release. If a decision is hard, I’ll explain why I made it. If I’m wrong, I’ll own it. That is the standard.

“I’m not here to play politics. I won’t hide behind talking points or make deals behind closed doors. Every decision I make will be guided by one question: Does this serve the people? If it doesn’t, I won’t support it.”

Every dollar is used to bypass the gatekeepers and speak directly to the people of Weber County. Accountability isn’t free—it requires resources to fight the status quo.

Leadership isn’t a title you inherit; it’s a standard you live. Whether I’m on the field coaching the next generation or managing multi-million dollar county facilities, the rule is the same: You cannot lead others where you are unwilling to go yourself. Stepping out of your comfort zone isn’t a suggestion—it’s the only way to facilitate growth. I’m not running because I need a job; I’m running because I’ve seen the waste, I’ve seen the “comfortable” decisions, and I know Weber County can do better. In my professional career, I’ve already proven I can cut costs and sharpen services. Now, I’m applying that same relentless discipline to the Commission.

The Three Pillars of Accountability:

Absolute Truth: No talking points. No spin. Peterson says to “Tell the truth, or at least don’t lie.” I will give you the facts, even when they’re uncomfortable.

Extreme Ownership: I won’t blame “the system” or “the budget.” If I’m your Commissioner, the buck stops with me. I take on the tough challenges others shy away from because that is what the role demands.

Performance Over Politics: Results are the only metric that matters. Every tax dollar is a unit of your hard work. I will treat your money with more respect than the government treats its own.

I am running to set the standard—for my children, for our community, and for you. We lead by example, or we don’t lead at all.
